To say Darlena is good at training fur babies is a huge understatement. She is beyond amazing! Darlena trains fur babies to sit, stay, down, and not get up until permission is granted, come when called, leash training, off leash training, not to jump on people, unbelievable tricks, I could go on and on.

Darlena came in and evaluated our puppy as she was having issues with nipping at us and anyone who came to our house. She explained how we need to become the leader in the relationship. She showed us commands and gave us advice on how to train with Ace, our Aussie.

BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION
If your animal needs help with a specific physical or behavioral issue, Behavior Consulting with Darlena's Dog Obedience may be a great option for you. Sessions can be done in the comfort of your own home, with personalized plans to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle. I will work with you and  train you on how to train your dog. Behavioral issues are a major problem and with the correct positive guidance, we can overcome most issues.
BREED & PUPPY CONSULTATION
Breed and Puppy Consultation is my most popular service, which I’ve been developing and perfecting since I started Darlena's Dog Obedience in 1998. I work closely with each one of my clients to find the perfect breed and the perfect breeder for your new fur baby. I make sure this breed fits  your families lifestyle and expectations.  I know you have a busy schedule, so I will do the research and location of your perfect new Puppy. I will research the breeder and the lineage of the puppy to ensure a perfect fit. I will provide you with a choice of breeders, along with pictures and backgrounds of both mother and father. Together, we will get the perfect addition to your family!!
BASIC & ADVANCED OBEDIENCE
I will work with you on basic obedience training. I train people  to train their dogs. You spend the most time with your dog and if you learn how to train, then your dog respects YOU. There are basic commands that begin the base of your dogs training and once your dog learns the basics, You can then move on to advanced training. I believe in positive reinforcement and have experience in creating YOU as the Alpha in your family / pack. If your dog knows his place in the pack then you will have a great and lasting relationship. I meet with your family to learn your expectations and teach you how to reach them.
PUPPY BEGINNINGS & TRAINING
The most important thing you can do for your puppy and family is to contact me before you bring your puppy home. I can guide you every step of the way! From the first night of crate training to housebreaking and beyond. I can be your own personal puppy training guide! If you are happy then your puppy is happy! A happy family and a happy puppy leads to an everlasting relationship! I want nothing more! I can guide you on food choices, toys, leashes, socialization and  training.  I will be there for you!

Darlena's Dog Obedience was founded in 1998, and has developed a very special reputation with my customers and their owners in Oklahoma. I believe that being the positive Alpha and having a clear set of boundaries is one thing, but being fierce is just not necessary. I don’t believe in harsh, unnecessary discipline, or that using a leash is the only way to teach an animal...I believe in positive reinforcements and training techniques. Dogs, along with other animals, are social animals, who enjoy love and family life. Together, we can get them out of the dog house, give them more positive re-enforcement, and turn them into another family member.
